Every mixing tray in the lay:art system has been developed for the highest demands. In close collaboration with numerous porcelain experts we can now provide the perfect solution for each individual technique. All lay:art mixing trays have one thing in common: a clever, ergonomic system for greater efficiency, dependability and satisfaction when building up porcelains.
The housing
The right framework for your individuality and creativity
All mixing tray inserts find their ideal position in the two sizes of housing. During planning of the housing concept the focus clearly crystallized on three main aspects from the outset: modern design, optimum ergonomics and maximum functionality. Ergonomics is always an integral part of the design and is reflected in the extended, circumferential hand rest etc. The rest provides ideal access to all porcelains in a 270° radius - the hand is always perfectly supported.
The ingenious lid fulfils several functions: in addition to protecting the porcelains against drying out and contamination, a cleverly devised ventilation system inhibits the formation of mould. The lid can also be easily completely removed. When open it provides the optimal view to the integrated, re-writable labelling foil. The foil mirrors the respective optical partitioning for each type of tray and ensures proper management of the porcelains.
The advantages of the intelligently designed housing are clear to see: large filling opening, which with the self-moistening tray systems enables easy filling of water without removing the tray. Anti-surge strips and grip recesses for safe transport. The large housing also has a practical tool compartment for brushes and instruments.
